Missha Coloring Tint Balm LINE Friends Edition Review & Swatch

Hello, lovelies~ I may not wear the brightest lip color for an every day look, but I will most probably use a lip Tint. It looks better with my skin tone without having it transfer everywhere I put my lips to. Since Missha is having a collaboration with LINE, I decided to get the Coloring Tint Balm. You know, one can never go wrong with a yellow lipstick casing.

The coloring Tint Balm comes with a reddish brown box with Sally imprinted on one of the sides. At first, I thought it was going to be a yellow box, since it is her color. However, it matches the color of the lip tint, sort of.  As for the lipstick casing, it is all bright yellow with Sally's face on it. Adorable!

The ingredients are all printed on the box, but since I can't read Korean, I'll just skip this step. The shade I bought is the red one, called 'Love To You'. The red shade reminds me of  Tony Moly's lip tint called Cherry Tint. It was an old product that goes back to 2011, probably.
The color is surprisingly pigmented on my lips. I thought it would be sheer considering it is mixed with a lip Balm. This one, however, applies easily on my lips without any patches or uneven spots. The balm helps to reduce the dryness, thus preventing any chapped or flaky skin bits on my lips.

As for staying power, it resembles that of a lipstick for me. It disappears after a meal and I would need to reapply afterwards. Unlike true lip tints, the ones that are drying, this tint balm reminds me of a pigmented Tinted Lip Balm rather than a lip tint.

The one downside I found with this tint balm is the texture of the product. It is too soft and mushy, despite being placed in a cool place. You know how a Lip Balm usually won't go down after you twist some of it upwards? Well, this tint balm has that same problem. In order for it to go back down, I have to apply a slight pressure while twisting it downwards before storing it back in my beauty shelf.
Overall, Missha Coloring Tint Balm is suitable for my everyday look, just applied in the center of my lips for a gradient effect. It feels like a tinted lip balm for the price of a lipstick. Perhaps I was too quick to buy it because of the adorable packaging. *bad habit*

What about you? Have you tried anything from the Missha x LINE Friends collaboration? Let me know in the comments below what you think of it. Thanks for reading and until then, I’ll see you later~
