Kanchipuram silk Sarees are the pick of the day when it comes to weddings, occasions and any other functions. The sarees were brought in from the south and have been created from pure silk. The sarees are 9 yards in length and are wrapped around the body carefully showing of every inch of a woman’s body. Weavers would sit in the temples in the south and would weave for hours without a single sound or squeak. The sarees were created and designed on handlooms and each thread has been woven together carefully without any damage. The threads are soaked in pure gold and silver.
