I’ve come across my old photos the other day and I have to say it was lovely to reminiscence on the good old Blogging days when it was appropriate to take few outfit shots in your bedroom or a back garden, do a bit of simple editing and then go live! Oh how simple the days were.

I’ve also noticed how my content has developed throughout the years though I’m fairly glad I have somehow managed to stay true to myself. I might be sharing less personal content, yet you can still hear my voice throughout my content, my view on life and my journey towards positive attitude.

I, among many others, have noticed how blogging has evolved. There is so many of beautiful souls sharing their day to day lives with us eager readers and inspiring us on daily basis.

It’s a bit funny and strange how times have changed. For those of us blogging since pre 2013, it’s always a strange feeling looking back. We’re now a force to be reckon with. We have become skilled content writers, amazing photographers, social media influencers and specialists. We have become part of marketing strategy of some of the biggest and smallest brands, we have become a voice of our present and future. Little did I know when I started back in the days of what’s to come.

I’m proud to be a part of this wonderful experience called blogging.

As it happens with every end of the year, I would like to reminiscence on the past year and the things I achieved.

I can happily say that 2017 had some very positive highs too, even though I haven’t manage to achieve everything I set myself. So without further ado…

Things I achieved in 2017 blogging wise

I’m still blogging!

I managed to stick to blogging on a fairly regular basis. 2017 have certainly been busy and pretty manic workwise and also with plenty of DIY work that had to be done on our house, so unfortunately blogging had to go aside for a moment or two. For that reason I’m very pleased I can still call myself a blogger, even though I post about 4x a month.

Improved my fashion photography

Now, listen before you smirk I said ‘improved’, not ‘perfectioned’ it I know there is still plenty of work to be done but I’m up for the challenge and I can’t wait what 2018 will bring.

Content is the king

I do try to make sure that every post I provide has some meaning to it. Sometimes I do rumble about my life but I also try to include a positive message througout my content. Sometimes it’s more prominent, though I think for 2018 I would like to try to get back to my Project Me Time series.

Be more personal

I rather miss the good old Blogging Days when things were simpler and where I shared more about my life, which gave me a great opportunity to connect with my audience and engage in conversation. I’d like to bring my personality and my stories back into my content and engage more with my readers.

Stick to blogging

I know most of you have been promising to blog more and dedicate more time to blogging but I know this won’t be possible with my time limitations and I know it will be even more difficult next year with my crazy working live and all the house DIYs. I’m determined though as I love my little space on the internet.

Be more organised

Throughout my blogging experience I ‘ve managed to gather a huge amount of perspective, which has certainly helped me with getting my priorities right and deal with stressful situations. Organisation was a key and I’m hoping I can tackle my busy schedule and blogging by utilising my time better. Fingers crossed!

Work on my photography

As mentioned above I’m keen to improve my photography skills, while I finally have that blurry background, it’s the composition and sharpness that I have on my mind for 2018.

Finish all the work on our house

One that is not exactly blog related, well kind of. We’re keen to finish all our work on the house by the end of 2018 and I’m hoping there will be more interior related posts that I can share as we go along.

The House buy also marked the launch of my interiors category, you can see all our home updates posts there, though there is a lot more to come in 2018.

So this is me, I’ve developed over the years, developed my personal style, my view on life and my perspective. I know who I am and who I want to be as I grow old.

So this is me, my latest outfit shoot out of the blue (trying to bring a bit more spontaniouty into my blogging) while doing my shop wearing flat boots paired with a dress for the comfort
