I really enjoying reading books and then writing Book reviews. However, sometimes I really don't have too much to say as I don't want to give too much away. Instead, I've decided on a new format, sharing all of the books I've read over the past month.

I've actually read quite a few books this month. My family recently started a book club and for the past few months, I've been only managing to get that book finished. However, this month, I managed to read three books and started the new book club book early so I've got a couple of pretty varied books to share.

Catching The Sun - Tony Parsons: This was the book I chose for my book club and although I did end up enjoying it, it definitely wasn't what I thought it was going to be. A family of four moves from the UK to Thailand, to start a new life. I thought it was going to be a real idyllic story, showing the paradise and freedom of moving. However, it showed a real side of Thailand including illegal property deals, natural disasters and hard times. Although it was slow going and hard to follow, as soon as I got into it, I did really enjoy the real account of the families time in Thailand. It ended up being a really enjoyable read.

Divergent - Veronica Roth: This was such a great book and I ended up reading it in only two days. Don't you love it when that happens? When you find a book so great that you can't put it down? Divergent was definitely that for me. Divergent is based around factions, which are seperate groups of people determined by personality type. You can either be born into a faction and choose to stay, or choose to leave and join another faction. The story follows a main character, Tris, and the problems she faces when choosing a faction and what comes afterwards. If you love fantasy and sci-fi and anything Hunger Games-esque, you will definitely love this!

Now You See Me - Emma Haughton: I bought this book a while ago when it was free on the Kindle store. I ended up picking it to read randomly and actually really enjoyed it. This book is all about Hannah and what happens when her best friend Danny, goes missing. The story switches between present day, and the before and during Danny's disappearance. This wasn't anything special and wasn't the best mystery book I've ever read, but it was really enjoyable. I loved the storyline and the ending finished the book off really nicely - I definitely didn't expect that the reasoning and explanations would be what they were!
