Moving house is expensive, which means I'm always looking for a way to DIY parts of our home decor. The latest project I took on was to create some simple Spice jars for our kitchen and I love how they have turned out.
The place where my Mum works has a Cafe inside and a while ago, I'd asked her to collect some of those little jam jars that customers use in the cafe. I wasn't really entirely sure what I was going to do with them but after thinking about the kitchen, I decided to make them into little Spice Jars.
This DIY was super easy and all I did was clean out all of the jars and filled them with a Variety of herbs and spices. Using a little template that I made on Photoshop, I printed out some circular labels in a variety of colours and just cut them out with some scissors. I then peeled off the backing and attached the label to the lid of the spice jar.
I absolutely love how these turned out and I'm planning on displaying them in a little wooden box that is all packed away. I can't wait to see how these look on our kitchen side - I'm sure I'll be sharing another picture of them then too!

How do you store the spices in your kitchen?
