school fucks over and traumatizes children
it does it in different ways and it reinforces these imaginary divisions, but it fucks over pretty much all the kids that go through it
also despite their attempts at clean delineation, “gifted kids” are not a separate category from everyone else, and certainly not some polar opposite from special Education kids as some people paint
i was in the special education Program and got mocked for that, and i was also in a few honors and GT programs, and both special education and GT programs traumatized me in different ways
why do we have to do this shit every time
someone wanting to vent about or joke about how their experiences in school messed them up is not in opposition to your traumatizing experiences in school
stop being such massive suckers and falling for the divisions the school tried to convince us were real
