FridayFaces Volume 30

Weeell look what the cat dragged in…it’s me! Coming back with another installation of FridayFaces.  This week is a little different from the norm because things have been getting real interesting over on my Instagram.  First, and most excitingly, one of my Lip Art looks was featured by KatVonDBeauty.  I’ll give you a moment to let that sink in and have a minor heart attack on my behalf…..you good?  OK.

I honestly died.  If you follow me on snapchat you already know that, but I was dead.  I died. And then I cam back to life and I died again and now I’m a ghost.  Maybe that’s why I’m so pale!  Mystery solved.

Moving on, I’ve been getting an outrageous number of likes (outrageous for me anyway to plenty of people it ain’t sh*t) on my more creative makeup looks so that’s what is ended up being featured here this week. So probably not stuff you would wear to work, but hey we gotta keep it interesting, right?

Lets start with the lip art look that was featured by Kat Von D, because god I am just so damn excited about that still.

To create the look I started with the Kat Von D Everlasting Lipstick in echo, and then I cut up pieces of “broken glass nail art” sheets and held them on with lash glue.  Simple to apply but bring a big impact.

For the next look, I got a little crazy again.  I did this gold drip lip look with my new Jeffreestar Velour Lipstick in Anna Nicole, which I love by the way, and while I was taking the photos my new Quay sunglasses showed up in the mail and it just felt like they were meant to be together.  I guess they were because collectively these were my most liked photos of all time.

For the drip I simply mixed some Sugarpill Goldilux Pigment into some Inglot duraline and let it drip down from the center of my lips, very carefully with a dense eye brush.

The last look is more…normal as they say. What is normal anyway? Why can’t I wear my drippy lips to the grocery store without getting weird looks?  I mean I know why but like…I wanna wear it. Stop looking at me weird! Maybe I should live in the Capitol like in the hunger game…oh that’s not real.  Sh*t.

Anyway, this look is not that. As a matter of fact you guys saw this look already in the “How to extend your inner corner” tutorial I put up the other day, but I only talked about the liner in that video. I’ll link that again as well in case you haven’t seen it.
