Love the shade of a lippie, or eye color but either have no time to sit down for a makeover or the shade is out of stock? Using a unique 3D mirroring function, the app accurately mimics the user’s expression in real-time so that the user can view her look from different angles, and can even suggest makeup products that will best suit the particular user! I think it looks really natural, not flat and fake looking like the MeituXiuXiu editing app!
Also not forgetting its best sellers, Laneige has created specialised corners where customers can easily interact and try out the products, through the eye-catching colour zones.
But what truly made me excited is that this flagship store is the FIRST & ONLY store in the world to carry 3 amazing new exclusive products:

Thanks to its varied formulation for different skincare needs, here are some of my suggested usages:
Nothing gets me more excited than receiving news that my fave beauty brand (of all time) Laneige has officially opened its doors at beauty mecca, ION Orchard! The first in the world to embody the boutique version of the new store identity “Water meets Light", it is the sum of so many reasons why I think you need to get your pretty selves down to the Laneige's new flagship boutique, pronto!
Christening this event was LANEIGE new global ambassador, Ms Lee Sung Kyoung, whom I think really embodies the natural beauty philosophy that the brand is about. You may have caught sight of this fresh-faced beauty in several K-drama such as SBS’ It’s Alright, This Is Love and MBC’s Flower of the Queen.

And taking the centerstage in the middle of the store is the Beauty Mirror! I dare you not to say "mirror mirror on the wall" while trying out this super fun interactive mirror that allows to virtually try makeup!

1) LANEIGE Sleeping Ball mask ($2-$6)
If you took a glance and thought that these Laneige Sleeping Ball masks looked more like butter or yogurt packs, you wouldn't be mistaken. There's no more excuse for neglecting you skincare with these color-coded babies! In this cute circular packs, it's wayyy more handy to carry than your usual rectangular sheet masks or the entire jar of sleeping mask.

Tried out the Foot Sleeping Ball; which has a soft souffle like texture that spreads easily on skin to provide a lightweight layer of moisturization. More to a silky afterfeel, non-greasy!
The Whitening Ball is interesting as it contains an inner ball that's suspended in gel; you're supposed to apply both and mix it onto face to activate the lipid's nutrients. This is great to be refrigerated before using for an extra cooling boost.
2) LANEIGE Lip Card ($10 for a pack of 4)
Ever bought a lip shade that didn’t quite turn out the way you pictured? Or going for a long travel can’t afford to bring some many tubes due to baggage limitations? Hell, especially handy for a mid-day freshener before that important meeting. Laneige has got your back on this, with Offering 20 sexy shades, this is lipstick confidence on the go. Simply open the pack, lift the transparent protector; then position your pucker carefully before pressing down!
My verdict: Here I have with me is in shade No. 8 Woman in Red ; a classic, can-do-no-wrong vermilion red hue. Its highly pigmented, and the texture is kind of a lip lacquer with a natural glossy shine...gorgeous! It will bleed abit slightly due to the consistency so my trick is to just lightly brush some setting powder.
Because of its rich color, I believe you can use the card for a touch-up, provided you keep it neatly stored with protector in place. The only thing is that I wished they had the shades so I can buy it in a full size if I fell in love with the color. But who know what could happen in the future…fingers crossed!
3) LANEIGE Water Science Mist ($28 each)
As always, I save the best for last! With our skin losing moisture throughout the day due to sweat or dryness of indoor air-conditioning, I’d like to think of this as an additional skincare companion that can be used by itself or as an additional step to your makeup/skincare regime. Gorgeously clad in colorful ombre bottles; its color-coding make it easy to identify and you can switch around for different benefits.
Thanks to its varied formulation for different skincare needs, here are some of my suggested usages:
1) LANEIGE Water Science Mist – Skin Relief (Soothing): which contains cypress tree extract renowned for its soothing properties. For after rigourous workouts and yoga practices; where that much needed refreshing boost is needed.
2) LANEIGE Water Science Mist– White Plus Renew (Whitening): Brightens up the skin tone and replenishes moisture. Used after I've applied makeup to kind of set the makeup into a dewy natural finish. And because it contains Melacrusher to prevent sun spots!

3) Water Sleeping Mask: Moisture Wrap: helps purify and deeply rejuvenate tired skin by forming a breathable moisture film over the skin to lock in moisture. For an additional layer of hydration overnight, I spray this to dry, before applying my actual Sleeping Mask.
4) LANEIGE Water Science Mist – Clear C (Anti-Oxidant): My fave to use on bare, clean skin. Superberry Extract which has 4 times the antioxidative effect as compared with vitamin C, to reduce skin’s oxidative stress due to environmental free radicals.

5) LANEIGE Water Science Mist – Sparkling Water (Brightening): Brightens and clarifies skin with the stimulating the effect of sparkling carbonated water; where the micro-carbonation massage helps remove dead skin cells, stabilise skin cell turnover, and promote circulation.
6) LANEIGE Water Science Mist – Time Freeze (Face-Fit): Firms up the skin elasticity; and infused with Dynamic Collagen to reinforce the hyaluronic acid layer, which supports collagen regeneration for supple skin.
