6 blogs I've actually read in December 2016

In today's world oversaturated with blogs (one more amazing than other, I must add) you have to curate yourself a list of the ones you'll actually going to read. By no means am I saying that I only read these blogs - I read tons upon tons but these are the ones I've followed so closely this month that I rarely skipped a post. And if I did I would come back to it. Some of them I have been reading for years, some of them I've discovered fairly recently - but all six of them have completely swept me off my feet.

WHICH BLOGS TO START READING IN 2017?

📃 New Darlings (explore here)
I can get completely lost in Robert & Christina's blog for hours on hours - it's so beautiful, the imagery is just so far beyond your standard blog photos with props and their life is of dreams. It's one of those blogs that makes you want to buy everything from West Elm, play the ukulele and book a one way ticket to Arizona. Lately I've been enjoying their exciting journey to buying their first house - you can follow it with me here.

📃 All Things Beautiful (read it here)
I don't follow many mental health blogs - not because I wouldn't care for them but because many people have started centring their online presence around mental health in a damaging way which I disagree with. Beth's writing is in stark contrast to every other blog focusing on mental health I've ever read. It's deep, raw and touches you far stronger than you could ever imagine. Beth says it how she feels it and that is very rare in the blogging community today. One of her recent posts that I found incredibly relatable was this one.

📃 Pretty Not Included (click here)
Sarirah writes about beauty (skincare & trends in particular) and a vast range of lifestyle topics. Her blog is so carefully designed and articles are meticulously curated. Each & every one of the topics she touches is brilliantly unique - these are the articles you've probably never even come across on other blogs (and they all make you think why the heck didn't I think about writing this!). Discover everything from Korean beauty products you've never heard of (here) to Instagram tools no one has ever told you about (here).

📃 Kate La Vie (admire here)
One that you've surely read before but I still need to mention because since Kate's blog redesign (it's been a while ago but it still grips me like it was yesterday!) I can't take my eyes off it. I've grown bored of minimalist white background kind of blogs over the past year but the soft pink & solid gold detailing on Kate La Vie still cuts it for me. Her list of 2016 beauty discoveries (read it here) has found me scribbling down a list of products I need to get my hands on - and that's how you know a blog's bloody brilliant.

📃 The Gathered Home (discover here)
Brynne is my spirit home decor animal - she's the only person I've ever met (virtually, that is) that I'd happily allow to completely re-furnish my home. Her taste for antique & vintage pieces is impeccable and I'm forever jealous of her beautiful home (see it here). And this post is SO me I had to laugh - Shaun always says that our home is a death trap for cats, can't even imagine if a child ever stumbled into our living room!

📃 Fashionicide (see here)
Lima brings colour into the world of minimalist monochrome and the occasional banana leaf. Her make-up skills are from another world - she draws the most gorgeous rainbows on her cheeks and adorns her eyelids with holographic glitter. When you're reading her blog all you want is someone throwing confetti at your heart and kittens to be running around holding sparklers in their tiny paws. And you remember the time she reviewed her living alarm clock? That was the best (I've re-read it twice since!) - crack a smile here.

Which blogs have you been reading in December & smiling silently to yourself because they were just THAT good?
