All good girls deserve something extra special, and Lucia Pica has designed something truly decadent for us this Holiday 2019.  Les Ornements de Chanel is inspired by Gabrielle Chanel’s penchant for opulence, and features powders ornately engraved like a vintage Chanel accessory and lipsticks in special metallic-trimmed casings.  Here are the full swatches of the entire collection for your viewing pleasure!

The Chanel woman envisioned for this Holiday 2019 season is seeking timeless simplicity, bearing a statement smokey eye or a lustrous lip set off against a fresh, luminous complexion.  The Exclusive Creation Les 4 Ombres Lumiere et Opulence eye palette may be worn blended or layered, diffused or defined.  Each of the shades are beautifully wearable, classic shades suitable for every woman, made even more covetable with the intricate engraving.

In clockwise direction starting from the top left, the shades are:

• Dark gunmetal filled with tiny flecks of gold against a satin base
• Soft metallic peach
• Deep chocolate brown with hints of gold threads interwoven
• Medium-light antique gold

Although I cannot imagine anyone passing up on the Lumiere et Opulence, there are 2 Exclusive Creation Ombré Premiere eyeshadow singles.  Though the shades are reminiscent of the quad palette, they are slightly different in tone and also feel slightly drier to the touch.

A quick tip for you, Ombré Premiere Grandeur may be used as a base for enriching other eyeshadows, and may also be swept across small areas around eyes and cheeks as a highlighter.  To define that smokey eye, try the new Stylo Yeux Waterproof in Khaki Intense.

For that angelic luminous complexion, sweep a light dusting of Les Ornements de Chanel Eclat Magnetique along the top of cheekbones and around the eyes.  It feels soft and almost creamy to the touch, but goes on with a touch of sparkle with a soft satiny peach hue.

This season’s Exclusive Creation Rouge Allure comes with the usual black lacquered case but made extra luxe with metallic gold trims along the edges.  As always, a push to the Chanel logo on the top of the case pops the lipstick out at the bottom.  There are 6 limited edition shades to choose from, and here are the swatches:
