I think the bravest thing anyone can do in their lifetime is to Love unconditionally. Valentines day is just around the corner and I couldn't find a better time to write about what has happened to me lately.





For the longest time I can remember, I have always wanted to die. My life has had its share of ups and downs but nothing one can really complain about if you look at the bigger picture. I just didn't get the point you see. I had a great life, I was supposed to be happy but I wake up, go through the motions, smile and pretend I am fine but I was just numb on the inside. There were times I wanted it to end but I was too much of a coward. I couldn't bear the thought of hurting my family and since I was raised with a conservative Catholic background, I had a healthy fear of hell and damnation to back that up.

The reason I wanted to write this all down is to let everyone know that I don't feel that way anymore. For the first time in my life I have hope. I am so in love and loved unconditionally. Funny how it took 33 years for me to finally have the courage and strength to find it. Something happened to me and it took years of putting it off because I knew the sacrifice it required until I finally yielded. This love completes me and gives me so much joy that I wish everyone could feel this way.

People have different ways of finding meaning and purpose in their lives and I am so happy that I have finally found mine. I never thought I'd be one of those Jesus freaks :p but I am and I really don't care if you call me one. I truly love and live for Jesus (ugh so corny) but there you go.

I finally know how it feels to be loved and to love unconditionally. I would like to thank my family, friends, ex boyfriend and d-group mates who has been with me every step of the way offering me their love, kindness and support.
