New Shops Coming to Walnut Street

Over the past years, much of the Walnut Street Shopping district has been lined with retail stores that have closed down due to a rough 2020. Between the pandemic and the riots, many of the businesses had a hard time recovering or had to shut down entirely, changing the landscape of the once known shopping destination. Some of those shops include the Philadelphia staple, Philadelphia Runner, an expansion of Madewell and Free People and a reopening of Dr. Martens along with a few new names!
