Where to brunch in NYC

Us New Yorkers can agree on one thing: Brunch. Nothing is better than catching a few more hours of sleep, meeting up with some friends and bottomless mimosas. Here are 5 delicious brunch spots in the NYC area.

Essex

120 Essex Street, NYC 10002

Saturday 11am-4:30pm

Sunday 11am-7pm

This restaurant has a $25.95 brunch special that includes a choice of entree + 3 bloody marts, screwdrivers or mimosas.  If you like eggs benedict you will die for their lobster benedict (pictured below). You definitely should make reservations for this is a hot spot in town! They are currently taking reservations for July 4th.

Healthy assorted breakfast

Lobster Benedict

Bubby’s

120 Hudson Street NY, NY 10013

Monday-Sunday

8am-4pm

If you’re looking for low-key comfort food this is the place to go! Biscuits are big deal here so make sure you try them. A lot of people also crave their homemade strawberry rhubarb soda. As always, make a reservation if you plan on coming here on the weekends.

Benson’s NYC

181 Essex St

New York, NY 10002

Benson’s is known for the burgers especially the Benson burger which includes a beet, fried egg, bacon, lettuce, tomato, and jalapeño pineapple salsa. Don’t let the beet throw you off, it really makes the burger. This isn’t just a burger joint, they serve a bunch of different brunch items.

    The Dead Rabbit

30 Water St.

New York, NY 10004

11am-4pm on Saturday & Sundays

This is an irish bar that serves brunch on saturday and sundays from 11-4pm. Their speciality is the pork mini sliders with quail eggs and irish cheddar.

  Felice 15 Gold Street

15 Gold St.

New York, NY 10038

This restaurant is one of the locals favorite Italian places in the FIDI area. They have romantic ambience feel for brunch, lunch and dinner. All brunch options have a complimentary bellini or mimosa. They also use all organic eggs. I recommend  trying the french toast topped with fresh berries. It is just the right amount of flaky and crispiness.
