Another day at the NGV

 Viktor & Rolf exhibition, NGV

Back in November uni wrapped up for the year and I finally had a whole day to spare, which meant checking out some of the new exhibitions and enjoying some tea at the National Gallery of Victoria.

In the last few years, there have been quite a few exhibitions celebrating fashion, from a dress collection dating back to 100 years ago, the Jean Paul Gautier exhibition and now the Viktor and Rolf exhibition. Each time I get so excited to be immersed into the beautiful craftsmanship and art of fashion.

The new Viktor and Rolf exhibitions celebrates their work as avant grade artists and fashion designers. One day I'd love to wear one of their haute couture dresses - they're crazy and gorgeous, everything I like.

We also check out the new modern art section, which had a chanel hula hoop bag displayed on a wall (#interiordecorgoals) and the bvlgari jewellery collection, which was extravagantly beautiful.

Check out some of these beautiful Viktor & Rolf dresses I found online:

Visiting the NGV is always a favourite of mine in Melbourne. What is one of your favourite things to do in your home city?

Also, I hope you have a great New Year!!

Thanks for reading!
