I´ve been a bit all over place these past few months in terms of travelling, and although I´m off to the Maldives in two weeks with my other half (SO excited for this) – I´m feeling pretty happy about having the next two weekends just relaxing in London… I love nothing more than a travel adventure, but sometimes, not much else beats having bit of normality in the comfort of your own home and city…

Summer in London has been a bit of hit and miss this year; it´s had it´s moments for sure, but overall it´s been a bit bland. A few weekends ago we had a few days of a mini-heatwave, so I jumped at the chance of wearing something silky and light, with my favourite white Summer dress and metallic sandals for a lazy day of mooching around with my girlfriend.

I love summer days in your own city. It´s so much longer and lighter, with impromptu al fresco evening dining with a glass (or two) of a crisp Rosé, sun-kissed skin and a carefree mood…

This stunning white boho dress from Karen Millen was such a great buy in the beginning of the season (it´s sadly sold out now – similar here and here) – but finding that perfect white dress, can be equally as satisfying as finding that classic LBD. White has so much more softness, warmth and lightness to it – and although it epitomises all things summer; some styles are so easy to carry over throughout the seasons.
