Festival season is almost upon us and this year is especially exciting as Radio 1’s Big Weekend is making it’s way to Middlesbrough this weekend, putting Teesside on the map!

The UK boasts an eclectic choice of festivals to enjoy throughout the Summer; British Summertime Festival, Leeds & Reading and internationally acclaimed Glastonbury just to name a few. As well as the big guns, there are numerous underrated festivals across the country that have plenty to shout about! If going to a festival isn’t already on your check list this Summer, then make sure you add it pronto.
