2016, I’m ready for you! I wanted to bring on the new year with something special, something memorable – and this is it. The past year has been awesome but this year will be next level. Just like this amazing Gold gown by Casey Tanswell from my favourite Aussie boutique, Tyson and Peppa. Oh and in case you’re wondering – the dress isn’t real croc skin (I wouldn’t dare) – it’s a beautiful black velvet with metallic coated patterns of gold representing crocodile skin. So clever! And so unique. And did I mention heavy? Perhaps one of my less practical outfits but well worth it, and yes I managed to survive the night in it 😉 You really feel like you’re dripping in gold when wearing this – like gold just melting from your body with a pool of it surrounding you – it’s insane. It photographs beautifully and looks phenomenal in real life. I won’t carry on, but will let the images and videos do the talking.
