5 minute 1960s eye makeup tutorial

I’ve made absolutely no secret of the fact that the 1960s are undoubtably my favourite decade when it comes to style. Sure, I absolutely adore the clothes, but another thing I’m completely besotted with is the Makeup. I basically wear winged liner every single day, and a big part of that is due to the style icons of the time, such as Anna Karina and Brigette Bardot.

I’m pretty upfront about the fact that I’m not the best makeup artist ever, but I do have fun with it, and decided to put my *skills* to the test to put together a 60s inspired makeup Tutorial, thanks to my friends over at Adore Beauty. All of this is really easy to do – even the false eyelashes (even though it was my first ever time putting them on myself!) I also loved the bronzed look I got as a result of the Iconic London Illuminating Powder. It’s kind of a first for a pale girl like me!

Most of all, I’d like to express how EASY this tutorial is! I’m all about being quick when it comes to makeup, so I guarantee this won’t take you longer then 5 minutes! It is the lazy girl’s guide, after all! Please let me know if you end up trying out this look.

The different products I used for this tutorial are:

Elf Cosmetics Poreless Fare Primer

Yves St Laurent Touche Eclat

L’Oreal Brow Genius

Iconic London Luminous Powder Palette

Kyrolan Upper Eyelashes

ModelRock Waterproof Eyelash Adhesive

Oh, and one last thing – Adore Beauty is now offering free express shipping to New Zealand! It doesn’t really get better than that now, does it?
