One of my aims this year has to start wearing clothing that can be styled in more ways than one. As someone who usually sticks to dresses, it means I’ve had to step outside my comfort zone ever so slightly, and work at building up my collection of tops and skirts. I thought I’d start this little goal with one of my favourite clothing pieces: a Jumpsuit, as after all, they’re really versatile. This is just a simple black little number, which gives a lot of flexibility in terms of what you can wear it with. Take a look below for my first video styling guide on how to style a jumpsuit.

Look one: Winter layers

When it’s Winter and you still want to wear your cute outfits, the very best thing you can do is add some layers! I started with the black jumpsuit, and added a yellow sweater, with a leather jacket on top. I had a velvet scarf onboard, so whipped my hair up into a topknot, and tied the scarf in. I wore some vintage inspired clogs which matched the yellow tones perfectly. Because I’m always about the statement bag, I worked in a Kate Spade dice bag that I thrifted last year on my birthday.

Look two: Sweet as candy

This outfit is all about being girly, adding a feminine twist to a simple black jumpsuit. I layered a pastel pink sheer blouse with bell sleeves underneath the jumpsuit, and added Mary-Jane style shoes in a similar shade. A hair clip works really well here, and I opted for a black and white pearl clip.
