Spotted in the Suburbs

Aha! Like what I did there? Spotted.. and I’m wearing spots (cue the comedy drumroll, am I right?)

Let’s just start by saying HI! It’s been a fair wee while, hasn’t it? Thought I’d pop back over to my little internet slice by going back to my roots – with Vintage clothing and pretty suburban spaces of course. It’s been a massive eight years since I was a fair young thing of twenty-two and decided to first start a blog. I’ve moved cities and countries – so obviously my surrounding spaces have changed enormously too. I remember when I first started blogging, a month before a huge earthquake took down most of my *then* city (hi Christchurch, New Zealand!) and the whole aim of Lost in the Haze was to show off pretty spaces, despite the rubble and generally miserable feeling of there just not being much left at all.

I used to love clamouring through parks and the cute Suburbs that my city had, but as you can imagine, Bangkok is about as different as you can get. I felt like I lost my way for a little while. Until yesterday. Literally yesterday. My husband, Barnaby was chatting to me about how I don’t try with photos in Bangkok. It’s never going to be New Zealand, and that’s fine, and instead I should be showing you what it has to offer. Because honestly, I love it. And I really couldn’t recommend Bangkok.

So here you go. The Bangkok suburbs. It’s not New Zealand. Not like it at all in fact.

But it is pretty. And like anywhere, you just have to look for it.

But there are still flowers. There is still my little vintage collection.

And a really hope you like it. I certainly do!
