Are you looking for unusual things to do while in Las Vegas? Well you absolutely HAVE to visit the Pinball Hall of Fame while you’re in town.

I’ve always been one of those travellers who’s quite happy doing my thing, with not much planning, and with the general attitude of ‘whatever happens happens’ (much to my husband’s delight!) On this particular trip to Las Vegas I actually DID MY RESEARCH (omg!) and found all kinds of things that really appealed to me, including, you guessed it, the Pinball Hall of Fame.

Although being somewhat of the beaten track, for a car-less tourist at least, this nondescript building housed all kinds of vintage pinball machines and arcade games dating all the way back to the 1960s. We booked an Uber from the Strip without any trouble, and promptly arrived right outside where we needed to be.

All it cost was $20 for well over an hour of entertainment. We started off with the pinball machines, surprise surprise, but soon experimented with all of the other arcade games and bits on display. My favourite thing of all was the Disneyland Mold-o-rama machine, where a Donald Duck and Pinocchio were created right in front of me. After looking into them a little bit more, the machines themselves are actually really rare, and usually working ones are in private collections, so it was pretty special to get to actually use one. In my opinion, the Pinball Hall of Fame is worth a visit for just that alone – if you’re a Disney lover, that is!
