Styling her outfits around a key statement item is another trick she uses to ensure that she always looks groomed and polished. The popular Jakarta-based content creator chats with us about her remarkable career, future plans and of course, fashion.
You are a fashion, beauty and lifestyle influencer who is based in Indonesia. Can you talk to us briefly about your career in social media?
I have always been passionate about fashion and started my career as a writer in a fashion and lifestyle magazine. After 2 years, I became the fashion editor and started a styling portfolio on Instagram to showcase my work. I received a good response and my following gradually increased. Seeing how well the response was, I took the leap and became a full-time content creator in 2016 as I really love sharing fashion content and interacting with my followers.
What do you think are the top trends for Spring/Summer 2019, and what are some of your summer style essentials this year?
I think that the top trend for this season is colour-blocking that mixes soft pastels with bold shades. My summer essentials this year include a coloured sheer dress or top featuring details like embroidery and quirky or retro floral prints that are striking and colourful.
What do you think of the CHARLES & KEITH Summer 2019 collection – what are some of your favourite items from it?
I am really impressed with the collection. The colour palette is a good mix of bold and pastel shades, and the designs are very wearable. You can easily dress them up or down. I especially loved the heels with marble stilettos and the very cute heart-shaped sunglasses!
Moving forward, are there any important milestones – in work and in life – that you hope to achieve in the near future?
I am getting married this year, which is one of the biggest milestones of my life and I am super excited about it! In addition to launching a couple of collaborations in the coming months, I will also continue to expand my skill set and explore new content to share with my followers.
