I’m not hosting any Holiday family gatherings for the first time in ages, and I couldn’t be more excited! No, I’m not a Grinch or Scrooge; it’s actually quite the opposite: I can’t wait to trim the tree and decorate my home at a leisurely pace. Blast the Christmas music, throw cookies in the oven, and make a mess, all in the name of creating that magic that only comes once a year. Can you blame me if I’m looking forward to finally getting to do all that while being well-rested? To be honest, this all usually takes place over the course of a few days, so ya girl has to be dressed for wreath-hanging AND gift-buying AND dinner eating. All hail a festive-casual look that gets it all done, and I found it #AllAtJCP. JCPenney has a variety of on-trend pieces at great price points; I’m so excited to show you what I came up with!

Arizona Cable Knit Sweater: You may not be able to tell, but this sweater is also approved for leggings, as the back covers the bum. You can never have too many cable knit sweaters, but a tunic length may help it stand out from the others. I’m wearing size L, TTS.
St. John’s Bay Plaid Button-Down: It will surprise no one that I managed to get plaid into this look, but this is my first run at a more festive color palette. Red and white always feels like the holiday, but without quite going overboard. And, it’s so soft! I’m wearing size M, TTS.
Arizona Puffer Vest: This puffer vest is thin enough to layer (clearly), which I love. Puffer vests can be clunky to style as part of your outfit (not just as outerwear), so stick with a thin option, like this, for ease of styling. I sized up to an XL for all the layering.
a.n.a. Cropped Denim Skinny Jeans: These mid-rise jeans are really a steal! I generally prefer high-rise, but I liked the fit. I always have a love-hate relationship with jeans, so the fact that these fit my waist and hips while being the perfect length puts them squarely in the “love” column. I’m wearing size 10, TTS
Arizona Faux Fur Boots: I mean, how cute are these? They’re comfortable, stylish, and perfect for holiday errands and hangouts, alike! I’m wearing size 9, TTS.
