We had the most special, epic wig giveaway this week!

Y’all, let me tell you about this past Monday. If you’ve been around our little corner of the internet for even a few days, you know that I have struggled for several years with pretty intense Hair loss. I have shared my story and how powerless I felt and how my identity was shaken. Throughout the process, I have learned that my hair doesn’t own me – I own my hair – LITERALLY! I became the wig girl 🤪

While our hair doesn’t define us, Wigs did help me to feel like myself again. They taught me that my identity is something that God has established and no amount of hair OR Hair Loss can take that away from me.

I try to give away a wig every month when I can, but this month, I wanted to do something special for the holidays. We were able to give away over 15 wigs to my girls who were struggling with hair loss, whether because of chemotherapy, alopecia, stress, or any of the other MANY causes of hair loss. It was such an honor to meet so many of you and to hear your stories. I truly love y’all and am so thankful we get to walk through this hair journey together.

A special shoutout to Bam Beauty Bar for so generously letting us use their beautiful space to host, and to Mona and the whole Wig Fairy team for donating their time and talents! I absolutely LOVE that so many women were willing to take care of each other.
