Summer Kid-Friendly Bucket List in DFW | Things to do in DFW with a toddler

I’m SO excited to experience a toddler-summer! Ezra is sooo busy and fun so I made a list of activities / a bucket list of over 15 things for us to do this Summer 2024.

The List-

  • Sign up for a weekly gymnastics class
    • Looking at WOGA, My Gym, The Little Gym
  • Head to the splash pad and grab ice cream from an ice cream truck
    • Splash pads: Windhaven Park, Campbell green park, Oak hills splash park, Klyde Warren Park.
  • Check out a new indoor play area on a really hot day
    • Playstreet museum, Kidz at Prestonwood, Mall play places, We rock the Spectrum,
  • Spend a morning at the Zoo
    • The Fort Worth one!
  • Head to the Dallas Aquarium
  • Walk / shop around downtown Mckinney and grab lunch
  • Spend a morning at the Dallas Arboretum
  • Walk the Katy trail and have a picnic in Turtle Creek Park
  • Lunch in Klyde Warren park and then the splash fountain
  • Story time at Northpark
  • Watch fireworks at Kaboomtown
  • Go Berry Picking at Hams Orchard
  • Have a pool day at the Gaylord Texan
  • Sit on a patio and grab an acai bowl together
  • Check out the animals at Cathy’s Critters
  • Spend a morning at the Dallas Farmers Market
  • Play date at the Frisco Library

We also signed up for a huge gym that has an outdoor pool we will be taking advantage of this Summer! Hope you guys have a WONDERFUL Summer ahead! xo
