I am a bit of a foundation addict, as soon as a new one comes out especially drug store I feel like need that I must buy and try it! I know there is a lot of frenzy between drugstore and high end foundations, I know some people that will not buy their foundation from boots and superdrug and only buy high end, and some that simply cannot afford a £40 foundation. I am in the middle I like both, there is some high end ones I couldn't live without and the same with drug store foundations! This post is going to be all about my 3 favourite drug store foundations, so I shall just get started!
1. Bourjois Healthy Mix Anti Fatigue

Price: £8.99 (Superdrug
Claims: "Bourjois Healthy Mix concealer contains vitmains C, E and B5 that boost skins radiance whilst erasing imperfections and signs of fatigue."
Opinion: I got sent this particular foundation in a PR package and use it in the shade NO 50 Ivory ROSE, the colour is a little light on me but its perfect for days when I have no fake tan on. I find it so difficult to find a good full coverage foundation in pale shades, I don't know why let me know if you agree I always find darker foundations to cover better! My skin has a lot of discolouration is fatigue in a lot of places i.e. under my eyes so I find my self using so much concealer. However with this foundation I don't need concealer for my under eyes, the foundation its self is full coverage enough to go without! Another good thing about this foundation is that it feels nice on your skin, I find a lot of foundation as the day goes out goes very oily on my skin and feels like its sliding off, but I have yet to have this problem with this one!
2. Maybelline New York Super Stay 24hr

Price: £9.99 Superdrug
Claims: "SuperStay 24h full coverage foundation completely corrects visible flaws and imperfections making it the perfect base for a hi-impact make-up look. Relentless, all day wear. Lightweight hi-pigment coverage. Flawless transformation."
Opinion: I bought this purely but Instagram told me to! You know when you see it that many times on your IG feed you feel like you're missing out? Yeah that happened to me, but I am so glad that it did as I love this! It covers literally anything that you want to hide and this is in the colour 10 Ivory, however it does oxidise throughout the day so maybe look at a lighter shade than normal! I will apply this at 7am and have it on until at least 6pm and it stays on my skin amazingly, I do have to set it with powder if I don't then it does slide off a little bit but as long as it is set it will stay all day! I feel like if you have dry skin then this may cling to all your dry patches as I do sometimes have dry patches on my nose and it will cling if I don't use enough moisturiser and primer! Unlike the Bourjois foundation I do still need to wear a concealer with this as it doesn't seem to cover my under eyes that well!
3. L'oreal infallible 24 hour foundation

Claims: High coverage longwear foundation that hides the appearance of fatigue and blemishes.

Opinion: So this started off as my tan Foundation, as I bought a really dark shade, but I fell in love with the finish of this! It has a very dewy finish to it so if thats what you like then you will love this foundation too! For the coverage of this foundation it feels very light on the skin even though the consistency is quite thick! I have recently bought this in a lighter shade too and it still looks beautiful on lighter skin tones! It does oxidise ALOT so just be aware that you need to blend it down into your neck and also considering going a shade lighter to avoid streaky orange lines! I have applied this with blenders and brushes and it works beautifully with a beauty blender and a paddle brush!
There we go so those are my top three drugstore foundations that I totally recommend! I have very oily skin so I don't know what these foundations will be like on dry skin but let me know what you think of these foundations in the comments below! Thank you so much for reading.
