Create a Cozy Hot Chocolate Station (5 Easy Ideas)

All you need is love and Hot Cocoa, right? Want to create a cozy hot chocolate station? I have a few easy ideas to get your hot cocoa station looking chic and yummy in no time! It’s so easy to GLAM up your hot chocolate options without spending a lot of money. Let’s make hot cocoa more glam with regular and affordable brands. And while you’re snuggled by the fire sipping hot chocolate, why not cozy up your wardrobe with THESE ideas.

Tip 1: Fancy Fixings

Let’s state the obvious – regular marshmallows always are appropriate. But, if we want to glam up our game we need some fancy marshmallows and “extras” for our hot chocolate.

Seasonal candy, like gift-wrapped chocolates (candy canes, ribbon candy, Hershey kisses…)

Marshmallow toppers in seasonal shapes (snowflakes, Santa, reindeer, Christmas trees…)

Stirrers with something extra (loaded with mini-marshmallows, chocolate candy pieces…)

Tip 2: Sassy Stirrers

No regular spoon will do if we are glamming up our beverage. Luckily we have many options!

Peppermint spoon (love these!)

Loaded Hot Cocoa Maker Spoons (like these or these) to just plop into warm milk to instantly create the hot cocoa of your dreams!

Sticks loaded with all the extras (look at all the mini-marshmallows HERE, candy pieces…)

Tip 3: Magnificent Marshmallow Toppers

Once your hot chocolate is poured into your favorite seasonal mug, top it off with a large holiday marshmallow to float on top!

How cute are these dog-themed toppers? Or these snowmen ones?

Can’t go wrong with snowflake toppers, right? Especially when the bag of them only costs $3!

Tip 4: Peppermint, Please!

A winning combination, especially during the holiday season, is chocolate and peppermint!

These snow mints are adorable and delicious!

If you don’t have THIS classic candy we need to talk. It’s THE best.

Tip 5: Sleigh-in it All Together

Now that you have the basics it’s time to put it all together for your hot chocolate station.

Tiered Tray: Helps save counter space while allowing you to display all of the delicious goodies! THIS basic one is great for year-round use, but THIS one is fun for the season! And as always, a farmhouse-inspired tray like THIS is always in style!

Mugs: You can go for the cute, holiday mugs or you can do the chic, clear everyday mugs. Either way, put the mugs on your station tray for easy access to quickly get that hot cocoa!

Seasonal Decor: Pop in a few simple decorative items to add that holiday vibe! Loving the mini nutcrackers (all 3 for $10) and bottle brush trees!

Charcuterie Board: Because your tiered tray probs wont be able to hold all of your hot cocoa items, place some on a board. I like the look of marble, but go for any style you like!

On a scale of 1-10 (10 = I LIVE for it), how big of a hot chocolate with all the extras fan are you?
