As much as we love wearing makeup, removing it completely at the end of the day is equally important. It can be a bit difficult to remove that stubborn waterproof mascara and the winged liner which are warm-weather essential.

I have been obsessing over The Body Shop Camomile Silky Cleansing Oil lately.  It is an oil based cleanser which breaks the makeup easily.  Generally I do not prefer oil based products for summers as they tend to make the skin heavy but this one is neither too thick nor too thin. It effortlessly removes make-up from the whole face quickly and effectively, leaving skin feeling clean, refreshed and clear of impurities.

I take one pump of the oil on my palm, rub it between my hands and then massage it all over my face and neck. As soon as it comes in contact with the skin, it feels as if it is melting the makeup on my face, even the water proof mascara and the long lasting makeup.

Then I just splash some water on my face and the oil starts emulsifying. Next I gently massage my face with the face scrubbing pad and wash it with luke-warm water. It deeply cleanses and removes all the makeup and dirt from my face and makes the skin feel clean, fresh and super moisturized.

As I have normal to oily skin, I prefer to wash my face with a face wash.  However, using face wash afterwards is optional. If you have normal to dry skin you can completely skip using a face wash.

The only negative aspect is that it cannot be used to remove kohl from the lower lid like any eye makeup remover but it certainly removes mascara, liner and eye shadow with closed eyes.

It smells flowery as it has camomile extracts with very mild and gentle fragrance.

I am using this for the past two months and it has not lead to any break-outs.
