Happy Hues

There’s no way in hell pops of bright Colours don’t make you happy. Gotta be a reason why kids tend to gravitate towards bold and bright colours. They are attractive and keep spirits up! Now, even though I would never in my right mind advocate wearing neon colours, I’m definitely going to persuade you to pull out all those happy hues out of the corners of your wardrobe this Monsoon!
If you’re having a rough day, and generally the humidity is keeping you cranky through the day (much like Moi!), there’s nothing like catching yourself in the mirror every now and then in some upbeat & vibrant shades of Yellows and Pinks….or Reds and Oranges…you know, whatever rocks your boat!
Ajio has been slaying the game when it comes to Indo-Western pieces. Their collection of their in house brand of accessories and apparel is to DIEEEE FOR. And what I love the most about them is that they try to bring together the Western trends with the Indian colours, prints, fabrics and techniques!
This pure cotton crop top with the cute detail of pink thread embroidery along with the uber chic earrings from one of my most loved accessory brands – Blueberry have been some of my favourite additions to the wardrobe. Added a few poppin’ pink bangles to the outfit to compliment the bohemian fusion-wear look, and there you have it!
Put together this vibrant combo to fight a rather slow and “chip chip” day. I’m sure I tied my Hair into a very high and tight bun right after this soot, but hey….can’t blame a girl for wanting to flaunt her hair on one of those rare good hair days ! ; )
Until next time…
