Pixi is one of those brands. The ones that no one talks about until a couple of key beauty bloggers or YouTubers start raving about a certain product of their range. And suddenly it’s all everyone wants to get their hands on.

I believe that for Pixi, that product was the Glow Tonic or at least, that’s how I first discovered the brand. Having a range of products for the woman on the go, full of nice ingredients that I can actually understand and with a price tag that is not overly excessive, it wasn’t surprising that I was intrigued and wanted to try their range.

When I saw that Cult Beauty had an offer, giving 24k Eye Elixir as a Gift with Purchase, I knew it was the perfect opportunity for me to finally do a Pixi skincare haul. I’ve been using these products for a few months now and I can finally give my review on them and for the brand in general.

Because I have quite a lot to say for all of these products, I created a separate post for each of them. This post is solely for my general comments on the brand and any aspects that I find that are common between all of the products that I have tried. For easier navigation, all the products I have tried until now, are listed below with links to their respective posts.

Glow Tonic (£18 for 250ml)

Glow Tonic was the product that caught my eye and drew me to the brand. After reading so many reviews about it, I decided that I had to try it and decide for myself if it was worth the hype.

Rose Oil Blend (£26)

I am always willing to try a new face oil, so when I saw the claims of this one I couldn’t resist. This is definitely my favourite Pixi product and I can see myself keep repurchasing it.

After all the issues I had with my skin around my eyes for the past months, and all the different eye creams that I tried (read about them here), I was pleasantly surprised by this roller-ball eye treatment.

A very nice, easy to use moisturizer for the woman-on-the-go.

My thoughts on Pixi SkinTreats Range

The Good:

• Pixi’s products contain natural ingredients.
• Pixi as a brand is 100% cruelty free.
• Even though it is not listed as vegan, lots of Pixi’s products are vegan. To the best of my knowledge, all of the products mentioned above are vegan.
• The packaging of all the products is very functional, hygienic and suitable according to the type of product. I especially enjoy the tube with a pump packaging of the moisturizers and the dropper packaging of the face oil.
• Price-wise Pixi is not exactly cheap compared to other drugstore brands. However, given the quality of their products, I find their prices very reasonable and much cheaper than high-end alternatives.
• A superficial reason compared to the rest I know… But I really really enjoy the colors of the brand. I find the pale green and pink packaging with rose gold writing  very cute and a joy to look at.

The Bad:

• I am honestly struggling to find something specific to complain about. I am nitpicking right now, but the only thing that bothers me is that the writing on the packaging tends to rub off. Apart from me having trouble taking nice pictures to post, this doesn’t affect the performance of the products at all so I am able to live with that drawback.

Overall, I really enjoyed using Pixi’s skincare products. I cannot say that they really rocked my world (with the exception of Rose Oil Blend), however all of them are nice products that get the job done. I can see why a lot of people are attracted to the brand. I would recommend them for anyone that doesn’t want to overthink their skincare with lots of steps and over-complicated formulas.
