Summer is nearly over and the Rain gods have finally showered some mercy. Though I have never been a fan of the monsoon season but this year 2017 I couldn't help but wonder when it will finally start raining. The heat was extremely unbearable and I just couldn't fathom to even step outside my humble abode.
It has been rightly said that you realize the worth of something when it's gone. After many years of cribbing and detesting the rains, I have finally understood it's worth and am forever happy to embrace it.
The calm soothing windy weather, the cooling drops of rain has made me travel into the midst of all Things Natural and has made me realize that it's alright to take a break and reminisce about what will make me happy rather than what will make others happy.
Well everyone might not understand it but weather makes a lot of difference in a person's thought process and affects the way one would approach life whether in the present or future. This definitely happens with me. At times I get super cranky or super enthusiastic.I have recently come up with a conclusion that instead of hating rain,why not accept Nature the way it is and find the small pleasures in life.
Summer shows all things bright and beautiful but the rains shows the reality that the nature has to offer. I have never seen the ocean and the sky look so gorgeous and soothing as it is does during the rains. Sitting along the sea side during rains and just looking as far as your eyes can take you, you will see the ripping waves fighting the winds and the rains just washing off the fear and stress in you. Those few minutes can make a huge difference within you. Don't care about the sand or anything else. For once just forget about everything and spend some time with yourself and nature in the best way possible.
Purchasing this dress along a small shop along the seaside at Anjuna Beach, Goa is a canvas for all things natural, serene and beautiful. The Blue flowy dress with the most minimal and simplistic hand made embroidery design captures the beauty of the ocean and made me appreciate the simplicity in things. This dress speaks to me, the same way nature does. This coupled with the rains and my thoughts will give me the temporary escape I need.
