Watercolor Blooms: Painted Skirt and Off the Shoulder Sweater

Being a Watercolor artist myself, I am naturally attracted to everything that is painted or has an artistic print. Brush strokes, paint splatters, hand-drawn lines, abstract patterns… you name it! And the best is when you can actually wear art, which fashion ultimately is.

Needless to say, my heart skipped a beat when I randomly found this watercolor flower print Skirt one year ago and I just had to have it!

For this outfit I paired it with an off the shoulder white light sweater with three quarter sleeves (from Mango, old), a black Zara waist belt to accentuate the waist line and my pink/mauve satin corset open toe booties (Steve Madden). To me, this outfit just speaks spring and Sunday morning… When you just want to relax on the couch (or on your favorite velvet chair), read a good book or a fashion magazine, maybe put on a candle, sip on a delicious latte and listen to chillout music from distant lands.

Hope you enjoyed my story and don’t forget to share if you’d like, it’s always greatly appreciated!

Much love
