Sephora Favorites Give Me Some Nude Lip Review and Swatches

I like nothing more than getting samples of products that I can then try out and buy full size if I like them. Sephora Favorites are a great option for doing just that. This Give Me Some Nude Lip set available as part of their Spring 2017 collection was just what I was looking for.

The set contains five lipsticks and a lip pencil and comes in a cute pink lip shaped box. It retails for $28 USD/$33 CND.

I have done swatches below and as you will see some of the “nude” shades are actually quite deep shades on my pale skin which is exactly what I wanted. Deeper skin tones will, of course, find that these are true nudes on them.

Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche Lipstick

This sample size is 0.05 oz/ 1.55 g and is called Honeycomb which is described as a nude beige. I love Bite lipsticks. They are comfortable to wear and the colour payoff is usually very good.

Buxom® Full-On Lip Cream

This Buxom Lip Cream is in a nice glass tube and contains 0.07 oz/ 1.55 g. This is White Russian and is simply described as nude. This is the palest of all the shades in the box.

Marc Jacobs Beauty Le Marc Lip Crème

I have several Marc Jacobs lipsticks and love their feel and consistency. This is a 0.05 oz/ 1.7 g deluxe sample in Slow Burn which is described as a creamy nude rose.

Too Faced Cosmetics Melted Matte Liquified Matte Long Wear Lipstick

Really, could Too Faced have found a longer name for this lipstick? This is a 0.08 oz/ 2.3 mL in Queen B which is a soft mauve matte.

Urban Decay Vice Lipstick

This is a full-size Urban Decay lipstick (0.11 oz/ 3.4 g) in 1993 Comfort Matte which is described as medium brown, but looked more deep red/brown on me.

Estée Edit The Barest Contour lip Liner

This Lip Liner finishes off the set and is full size and in a shade called The Buff which is a satin nude. This shade works really well with all the other shades in the box.

I think this box is great, and the Sephora Favorites are a great way to try out new products and different bands without having to commit a lot of money to full size products. Even if the shade included is not totally right for you, you can decide if you like the feel and consistency and base future purchases on that. A big thumbs up from me.
