How to change an account’s ownership of Single account as well as multiple accounts in WHM?

There are 3 ways to change an account’s Ownership in WHM. None of which are actually listed in the main menu.

Step 1 – Login to WHM.

Step 2 – Here you are in the WHM Home Interface.

Step 3 – Now find the ‘account information’ category. Go to ‘List account’. A new interface will appear.

Step 4 – Find the row containing the account whose owner you wish to change. Then on the left side you will find a ‘+’ icon. Click that icon. You will find some more options have been appeared on the screen.

 Step 5 – Click ‘Modify Account’ option. A new interface will appear.

Step 6 – Click ‘Change owner’. Select the new owner from the drop down menu.

Step 7 – Then click ‘Save’. A confirmation message will appear.

Step 8 – That’s it! The account’s owner has now been changed.

Step 9 – You can also change an accounts owner by going to the ‘Reseller center’, under Reseller. Here it is.

 Step 10 – You can change the ownership of a single account with this link. A new interface will appear.

Step 11 – Select the account whose owner you want to change. Then click ‘Modify’. A new interface will appear.

Step 12 – Now change the Account owner from the drop down menu. I don’t want to change the account owner therefore I am leaving it as it is.

Step 13- You can change the ownership of Multiple Accounts with the link below. Go to ‘Reseller’. Click Change ownership of multiple accounts. A new interface will appear.

Step 14 – Select the account whose account owner you want to change. Click ‘Submit’. A new interface will appear. Select the multiple accounts whose ownership you want to change. When changing ownership of multiple accounts, be sure to select the reseller from the list which you want to be the new owner of the accounts.

Step 15- Click ‘Change owner of the selected accounts. A confirmation message will appear.

Step 16- You now know how to change the ownership of an account in a few different ways.
