Reddit is one of the most popular news aggregation sites in the world. We won't make a big mistake if we say that it is also a social media site, although quite different from Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and similar ones you might know and use on an everyday basis. The great part for us is that, among many, there are some great Wordpress subreddits as well.

According to Wikipedia pages about Reddit, the popular network had an average of 542 million monthly visitors for 2016. That makes the site #11 most visited site in the States, and #25 ranked site in the world.

Just one of the reasons why the site is so popular is its ability to collect everything about anything. On Reddit, users create and aggregate their own content. The content is categorized in so-called subreddits which are actually communities for themselves. For example, you can find subreddits about education, entertainment, image sharing, discussions, technology, and much more. To be more specific, Reddit counts more than 11,000 subreddits which are created by users.

If you are still not familiar with Reddit, we hope the few introductory sentences got you interested. Unfortunately, there are not as many WordPress-related subreddits as we'd like to see there, but there are some that will help you read more interesting stuff about WordPress, learn a thing or two, or maybe even allow you to help a fellow Redditor with something you know about the platform.

• WordPress – With more than 30,000 subscribers, this is the most popular WordPress subreddit you can follow. Here you can find news, articles and different discussions about WP. If you're going to participate in the subreddit actively, make sure that you read the rules before posting links and questions.
• WordPress Themes – If you are interested in just WordPress themes, you should join this community of more than 2,600 subscribers.
• WordPress Plugins – Although it has just about 250 active users, the subreddit is still quite active, and it can help you with WP plugins.
• PRO WordPress – More advanced WordPress users will know how to appreciate this subreddit. It will take you just a few seconds to see if this is something for you.
• DIY WordPress – With more than 700 subscribers, this is another WP-related subreddit which might interest you.
• WordPress Web Hosting – Need a web hosting for your site? Want to ask a question about a particular hosting company or see others' experiences? Join this subreddit.

There are some other subreddits about WordPress out there, but unfortunately, many of them have only about a few dozens of subscribers and aren't regularly updated. Still, if the list above isn't enough for you, we encourage you to do a search on your own.
