GetResponse Review

Is Getresponse the ultimate solution for your digital marketing? In this GetResponse Review, I’ll go over exactly what it includes and what you can do with it to get more leads and customers for your business.

GetResponse Pricing and Plans

GetResponse offers three different plans: Email Marketing, Marketing Automation, and E-Commerce Marketing. For most small businesses, the Email Marketing plan is more than sufficient. It’s the plan that I personally use, and it allows you to create all the necessary marketing tools such as email lists, autoresponders, landing pages, forms, popups, sales funnels, and websites.

Medium or larger size businesses may want to check out the Marketing Automation plan. And, online store owners will appreciate the E-Commerce Marketing plan.

GetResponse Dashboard

GetResponse has done a really good job in providing an easy to use customer dashboard that you can also customize more to your liking. You can edit and add widgets to your dashboard for quicker access to functions. Or, you can use the Tools menu that allows you to create all of your digital marketing assets.

GetResponse Features

Email Marketing

Email Marketing with GetResponse is very easy. First, you create your email list. Then, you can create your autoresponder messages. Although it’s a separate process, you simply have to link your autoresponder email to the list you want.

Landing Pages

With GetResponse, you can create landing pages from one of the many pre-designed templates or you can start from a blank template. I do like the GetResponse drag and drop editor that’s very intuitive and easy to use. You can easily edit and customize the text on your pages as well as swap out existing photos with your own images.

Forms and Popups

As with landing pages, in GetResponse you can created embedded forms and popups starting from a blank template or by using one of the pre-designed forms. Either way, the process is again easy to perform in the GetResponse editor. And, with the Web Connect feature, it’s very easy to get your popups to appear for example when someone tries to exit your webpage. I use GetResponse popups on my WordPress websites and they work great.

Sales Funnels

One of the great features in GetResponse is the ability to create sales or conversion funnels. While these aren’t the advanced type of funnels you can create with other well-known sales funnel software, they’re fine if you need a basic funnel system that allows you to lead your potential customers through your sales process. For example, you can offer a lead magnet (eBook, etc.) to get people to sign up to your email list, then setup a series of autoresponders to take them through your sales process. As your list members go through your funnel process, you’ll be able to view analytics data on each step.

Websites

And, with GetResponse you can actually create websites. So, you may not need a separate website building service or even a web hosting plan. Again, while the sites you can create are more basic in nature, they are fine if all you really need is an online brochure type of site for your business or if you need a basic online presence.

GetResponse AI Technology

With AI Technology everywhere these days, it’s not surprising that GetResponse has incorporated AI to make a lot of tasks simpler and quicker. Personally, I find creating items the “regular way” to be very easy and quick. So, once you start using GetResponse, you may opt not to even use the AI. However, for beginners, using the AI methods does make creating digital marketing assets even more user-friendly, as you simple answer some questions, and GetResponse creates your autoresponder, page, ad, etc., for you.

Here is the link to an article I posted covering GetResponse AI Technology in more detail.

GetResponse Performance

GetResponse gets high marks from me when it comes to performance. My email autoresponders and messages have always been sent out promptly and correctly. And, I’ve never had any issues with any other digital marketing assets not working. I’ve also not had any problems accessing the GetResponse site.

GetResponse Customer Support

GetResponse includes live chat support that you can easily access from your dashboard. Chat support is available 24/7. And, I’m pleased to report that most of the time you’ll get promptly connected to a support agent. There may be a slight wait if you contact support after business hours, however it’s usually not that long of a wait time.

I’ve been using GetResponse for years now and in all but one or two occasions, the support agents have been knowledgeable, courteous, and helpful. I would definitely rate their customer support as excellent.

GetResponse vs AWeber vs Constant Contact

Here’s how GetResponse matches up with two of the most popular email marketing tools: AWeber and Constant Contact.

Email Marketing:
Landing Pages:
Create Forms:
Create Popups:
Sales Funnels:
Create Websites:
Ecommerce:
Price: $15.58 mo. $20 mo. $35 mo.

Each of these digital marketing tools/services perform well. But when it comes to features and value, GetResponse is definitely the winner. The amount and variety of digital marketing items you can create and use with GetResponse is very impressive. You can use GetResponse for everything from email autoresponders to sales funnels and even create websites. So not only is GetResponse very affordable, but you can save money by not having to purchase software and services for other tasks.

While I like and use GetResponse, it’s good to note that each of these email marketing services offer free trials. So, I would encourage you to try them out and see which one you prefer.

Recommendation – Why GetResponse is Better than Others

Overall, I would highly recommend GetResponse to anyone that needs to set up digital marketing for their business. GetResponse includes the best selection of digital marketing tools compared to the other services that I’ve seen and used. I really like how you can easily create autoresponders, forms, popups, landing pages, sales funnels, and other marketing items in GetResponse. You can even use GetResponse to create websites!

GetResponse is very easy to use. And, if you ever have questions or need assistance, you can contact support via live chat.

And finally, unlike some of the other digital marketing tools out there, GetResponse is very affordable. You can even try it out for free. You really do get a lot of value with their marketing plans.
