Marenda is a one page – Full Site Editing Gutenberg Theme created by Xidea themes and available for free. Unlike many other themes is very simple to install – there is no complicated procedure of importing the content and it only needs one plugin to fully function.

Being a full site editing Gutenberg Theme it comes with a header and footer template part and several templates for various pages: single, page, search, 404, index, author and archive templates.

To install it, you need to download the theme from the WordPress repository and upload it in your WordPress theme folder, then activate it. It only needs a simple little block that allows you to add a custom SVG icon or graphic to the Block Editor (Gutenberg) – the Icon Block

It’s looking great on mobile too:

The easiest way to edit the theme is to use the Gutenberg block list from the left sidebar an open the blocks you need to change.

As a downside, the single and page themes are looking a bit dull – nothing much to be seen there, so it’s basically a great looking single page Gutenberg Full Site Editing theme, that it’s too simple for sites with a lot of content:

But the homepage does look amazing!
