Publii Part5: Open Graph & Twitter Card

Continue our site settings setup: Open Graph & Twitter Card

Open Graph was first introduced by Facebook for the purpose of allowing smooth integration of metadata within a webpage to display specific content of a page.
In more simple words, meta tags spread the content of your pages quicker and much smoother by making them more visible to social media crawlers.

Twitter Cards was implemented back when the maximum characters that Twitter allowed were 140 characters.
They provide a way to add an image, video, headline, and URL for a richer visitor experience driving traffic to your site.
Even though Twitter has since upped the limit to 280 characters, many still use Twitter Cards.
