As Google’s first in-house and latest version of Android Nougat 7.1 is already cleared all the analytics test, it is ready to be used in latest Android app development. The latest reviews show that Android Nougat 7.1 is a more matured version of Android. Over a period of time Android development has grown in one direction that is stability.

The split view can be created by long pressing of recent app button on the screen to allow you to select the second app in the other split window. By default, the screen is divided in 50% of the entire screen size but the changes can be made.

Picture-in-picture

Just like the apple phones, Google has also introduced a new picture -in- picture mode. This feature allows you to minimize a video in the corner while continuing with the browsing in another window. The new android smartphones will have this feature.

Quick Settings

New notification panel will have a feature for enabling Wi-Fi. This change will make it easier for users to access the frequently used quick toggles, especially on Android device with a large screen. The quick setting has come as a separate option in Android N.

Use of Tile API in Quick Setting
