I like to paint simple Country landscapes and fairly often use Red Poppies in my scenes.  I had not painted an old church for quite a while now, and have had an idea to paint one, for a couple of months now.  I decided on a yellow sky for this piece, with its simple white church, with gothic arched windows, white cross on top, with red poppies around.  I used Turner's yellow for the sky,
