If you have seen my paintings over time, you may have guessed that I love old farmhouses and am especially fond of old Stone ones.  I painted wisps of smoke coming from the chimney of this farmstead scene, with a pastel sunset sky and clouds overhead.   It makes me happy to think of warmer weather ahead, after a long hard winter here in the Midwest.  Early summer is my favorite time of year
