When I listen to Robyn some type of spark enters my body and I’m able to forget myself for a moment. I know many others will attest to this beauty of a feeling as when her voice comes over: the sound, the melody, the lyrics, the harmony is infectious. Robyn has has been sharing addictive pop singles since way back in the early nineties from “Show Me Love” to “Dancing on My Own”. Whether in a club, in the car, or on a pair of headphones, the heartbeat of Robyn becomes the focus as her electric energy and reflective voice provide an emotional escape away from some of the most humanly vulnerable, and loneliest moments. Somehow we’re dancing, when we should be crying.

In August 2018, Robyn released the song Missing U, a true time capsule back to her last solo album Body Talk from 8 years ago, adding a perfect addition to the singles we’ve come to love. The song “Missing U” swirls within synths of thoughts, reminiscent of love, and the delicate grief after separating. Like a carousel, twirling in circles throughout the lights, the beat throbs with intensity as the lyrics naturally takeover.
