I love the artwork of Dan Sprick. There is something magical and ethereal in the patina of shimmer he renders on skin in his evocative portraits, and the objects in his still life work beam an otherworldly glow. I took a workshop with him and wrote about it here a few years ago, and his work ethic was incredibly inspiring to me. To be good, you simply must do the work, and practice your craft.
