Looks like I’ll be doing the book Cover to “Family in Savannah” myself.
Not that I can’t, since I had a solid background making book covers in the past with bookcovermodels.com, and making my own covers. I just did not want to focus on it this time around.
So, Donna and I are venturing out to Savannah this weekend to explore the city. The goal is to get a feel for all the locations I wrote about and find a picture for the front and back cover. Something that defines Savannah and still gives off the feeling I want for the whole story.
Keeping to a set schedule, I started the cover with what the text, leaving space for photo(s). Below is an example of the main title with a new top corner image that will be on all the future books: stories you can feel.
The cover WILL NOT BE ALL BLACK. It’s just for allowing the text to pop until either a photo or some sort of art is inserted.
