a lace edge, a button, a pocket,

Image overload? Sorry.....I couldn't decide which ones to leave out. This Pocket is finished. Well, I say it's finished there could be Suffolk puffs appearing on here too in the near future. This one is all about hankies and hexagons and was the first piece I started in class. Silk, vintage hankies, vintage lace, embroidery, a button and hey presto. There is patchwork on the lining too, hexagons, Grandmothers flower garden. In theory I am making for France but I have a sneaky feeling this one is a keeper, mine, never to be parted with.

Where have I been? Just a life hiccup. Thanks for all the mails and the search parties which were sent out in my honour it was very much appreciated.
