beginning to put it all together

Attaching tiny stitched samples, not much more than Scraps but embellished scraps, scraps with embroidery, torn paper, beads....attaching those to pages for my ''artist book'', pulling it all together. Deciding what to put where and how to then embellish the page is one of the most exciting things about creating these little ledgers, sometimes challenging but exciting all the same.

There are four ''sides''here, four  finished sides, four little compositions. I spent two hours with these yesterday afternoon. I would struggle to find a better use for two hours of my time. Two hours would result in a lot of bullion knots I guess but each of these ''sides'' is a finished piece in its own right, the reward more immediate.

The creation of these little fabric compositions will form part of my new class,  my twelve month ''artist book'' subscription class. You can read more about that here.
