How to Get Rid of Banner Wrinkles and Creases

So you've received a huge vinyl Banner from us, but it came out looking wrinkly and creased after being removed from the packaging (as can be seen in the picture below). Oh no!

We're sorry to hear that. Unfortunately, sometimes wrinkling and creasing does happen. The wrinkles and creases come from the folds we create in order to ship your banner at a more cost-efficient price (for you).

However, wrinkles and creases can easily be fixed in a few simple steps! It doesn't take long and will help your banner look as beautiful as we intended. Keep reading to find out how to get rid of banner wrinkles and creases:

The first step in taking care of the wrinkles is to completely unroll your new banner. Take it out of the packaging and unroll it completely.

The next step is to lay it flat on the ground while keeping the edges taut (as in stretched and pulled tightly), like this:

(This banner is actually lying flat on the ground. We just rotated the picture so that it wouldn't break your screen!) You can use string to hold your banners in place, or get assistance from others.

Once that's done, leave it out in the sun for about 30 minutes or so, or until you notice the wrinkles and creases disappear. The banner should remain taut in the process.

If you'd rather not wait, you can always use a hair dryer (like the one below) or a heat gun to speed up the process.

Your banner should be wrinkle-free and crease-free in no time! We guarantee that it'll look gorgeous displayed anywhere (and without a wrinkle in sight)!

We always like to make sure that you're satisfied with your banner. If you'd rather save time and would rather receive a rolled banner (instead of a folded one), let us know! Our customer service reps will gladly help out.
