As part of their product line, they produce and sell the famous award-winning Waterford Blaa. The BLAA itself has been awarded Protected Geographic Indication (PGI), and is an indigenous food from the South East of Ireland. The PGI award recognises products whose links to a region make them unique. The PGI status states that “the entire product and at least partially, be manufactured (prepared, processed, or produced) within the specific region and thus acquire unique properties”.

Walsh’s Bakehouse has a loyal customer base and needed to position itself to allow it market to a wider National and international target audience.

Through a series of stakeholder workshops, we carefully considered their positioning, values and branding.

We then developed a creative idea and crafted the entire website around it. We positioned Walsh’s Bakehouse as a brand that meets national and international requirements when sourcing a preferred supplier of freshly baked bread products. This called for a complete refresh of the design and creative presentation of visual content with more impact over their local competitors. The website was built and optimised for mobile and tablet.

Today, Walsh’s Bakehouse has a beautiful new responsive website which tells their brand story. It is easy to navigate and this in turn has helped cater for customers across the country as well as internationally.
