A time lapse video from the Single Red Crown freehand tattoo session. Completed during a single sitting we are able to see, up close, both the drawing of the artwork itself as well as the creation of the tattoo. Requiring a clear vision of the final composition before even putting pen to skin, the freehand technique is truly the best way to achieve the most individually tailored and unique pieces. Certain ink brush effects and layerings are not able to be captured in the session video, requiring days or months for the ink to heal and disperse following the sitting. Any pre-existing tattoos depicted here were of course not completed by Joey Pang. Again it was an absolute pleasure working with you on this as well as on your other art – thank you for your kindest patience and communications over the past years!
