Mother Teresa was a Roman Catholic nun of Albanian ethnicity and Indian citizenship. She was born Agnes Gonxha Bojaxhiu and lived from August 26, 1910 to September 5, 1997. She was well-known for her over 45 years of ministry to the sick, poor, orphaned, and dying. Through her work, many charities, shelters, hospices, and homes had been founded.
